I was reading Sian's blog this morning and found today's entry really interesting. It was all about the month in numbers. She got the idea for the entry from one of the blogs she reads "Notes on Paper". I thought this could be interesting for me to try and do. So here goes my September in numbers.
Tons: of campaign ads we've seen & heard before this Thursday's election. I know that's a slight exaggeration but it sure seem like there's been tons of them. Can you tell we're tired of them and they can only campaign for something like 5 weeks. :)
1,280: Airmiles from Toronto to Houston where J was for 4 days.
253: Knitting magazines/catalogues and newsletters recycled - that was a real biggy for me and has opened up so much more space for my scrapping paraphernalia. I shared a picture before of just some of them here. I still have my Knitters magazines and my Knitting Guild of Canada newsletters but they'll probably be going too.
49: Odd ball balls of yarn given away.
10: Knitting projects on the go - will I ever finish them all?
6: Coffees/Teas/Chais with Jean & Jane.
5: Slice cartridges bought
4: Visits to the dealership where we got the Mustang from so that they could figure out just what was going on with it - turns out its a Mustang thing. Looks like we'll have to put up with it till they decide they'll issue a recall on it.
3: family birthdays - J, my niece & J's cousin all within the span of one week.
1: Dr's visit to figure out what's what. Yesterday I got a partial answer, now to have the other tests done tomorrow and Thursday.
1: Huge bag of shredded paper put out for recycle.
Next month I'll make sure I've got more pictures to put in here.
