It's been a week of talking about what we're going to do once J retires for good in what is now planned for 2013. He retired before but went back to work in 2001 when he was offered a short term contract that turned into a permanent job that he really likes.
Should we stay in this house? Probably not as it's a two storey. If not, how long should we live in it?
Should we move somewhere in the immediate area? The advantage to that is we already have Doctors here.
Should we move out of town or even out of province? I'm all for Nova Scotia (gee I wonder why).
Should we move to a condo or a small bungalow?
Should we spend winters down south? I think the answer to that one is yes!
Should we go ahead with our postponed dream of rving (is that a word?) and seeing parts of North America we've never seen?
Decisions, decisions but at least we have 2+ years to hash everything out and come up with a plan. Meanwhile I'll get more into getting rid of stuff for eventual down-sizing (another reason to use up my paper scrapbooking supplies and switch over to digital).
